1. Yahong Art Gallery

Yahong Art Gallery is the largest arts and crafts centre in Penang. Displaying works by Malaysian and Asian artists, it is divided into four sections: the Art Gallery, Handicrafts, Batik and Jewellery & Antiques centres. It is best known for housing the artworks of Chuah Thean Teng. Besides Teng’s batik prints, the displays at Yahong Art Gallery range from batik works by other artists to beautiful Chinese jewellery, antiques, pewter works and water colour, Chinese ink and oil prints. In addition to that, other noteworthy exhibits include an ancient Malaysian medicine horn, a Sarawak tribal chief's staff, an exquisite Chinese cloisonné, Chinese tile pictures and more. Also when you visit the gallery, be sure to catch a demonstration on batik printing and pick up some pewter products and batik apparel as souvenirs. 2. Penang Batik Factory

The Penang Batik Factory is one of the pioneers of batik manufacturing on the island. Established in 1973 by Craft Batik Sdn Bhd, it is set in Teluk Bahang, a short walk away from the Penang Botanic Gardens: the complex provides free, guided daily tours. The complex is divided into three sections: an art gallery, boutique and workshop. Surrounded by lots of tropical greenery, it is one of Penang’s well known sightseeing spots and offers a wide variety of quality batik, from block prints batiks to hand-drawn pieces. At the Penang Batik Factory, unlike the usual one-sided print, each piece features patterns and colours on both sides of the fabric. 1. Penang National Park

Penang National Park is the world’s smallest national park. Within the park are well-marked trails that lead into the jungle and to the bays around; it contains about 410 species of flora and 143 species of fauna ranging from snakes, macaques and leaf monkeys to otters, hawksbill turtles and dolphins. Formerly known as the Pantai Acheh Forest Reserve, it is located further up the west side of Penang Island, past a twisting, forested section of road. Comprising 1181 hectares of forest and 1381 hectares of wetlands, it is a pleasant enough place with a waterfall and a pool for a pleasant swim. Camping facilities are available: telephone the Wildlife Office at Teluk Bahang to make reservations. You will have to register at the office before you can enter the park. This tourist should be visit here is because the tourist can get close to nature here, visitors can climb mountains, camp, watch waterfalls, etc.

2. Penang Botanic Gardens

Penang Botanical Gardens are usually simply called the Botanic Gardens by Penang islanders. Also known as the Waterfalls Gardens, the gardens are located in a valley along Jalan Kebun Bunga. It is a well landscaped place that contains a huge variety of indigenous and exotic plant species. Set up by the British in 1884 by Charles Curtis of the Gardens & Forests Departments Straits Settlements, it used to be an old quarry site and is divided into 12 sections. The  Penang Botanical Garden are about eight km from Georgetown, and some of the flora there includes the cannonball tree, sengkuang tree, pinang palm, black lily, slipper orchids and more. Some of the more interesting plants at the gardens are kept under lock and key, and are only open to visitors from 07:00 – 19:00. The reason that visitor should be visit here is because the beautiful natural view at Penang Botanical Gardens is very attracting. 3. Penang Butterfly Farm

Opened in 1986, the Penang Butterfly Farm – located in Teluk Bahang – is one of Penang’s best known and most popular tourist attractions. The eight-hectare butterfly sanctuary houses an impressively varied collection of butterfly species as well as an assortment of other insects. The farm sits at the foot of the Teluk Bahang hills – between the Taman Rimba Park and Teluk Bahang village. It features more than 4,000 butterflies from more than 120 groups as well as other insects and reptiles. 4. Tropical Fruit Farm

Located within the Penang Butterfly Farm is the Tropical Fruit Farm – a 25-acre organic orchard with more than 250 types of fruit including durians and West Indian cherries. The garden was developed in 1993 in an effort to conserve rare and exotic fruit trees. The fruit farm’s collection of trees include species from far-flung corners of the world including Central and South America, Central Africa, India, the Middle East, the Caribbean and the Pacific Islands. This eco-tourism venture only utilizes organic fertilisers.  The Tropical Fruit Farm conducts daily guided tours. The reason that tourists should be visit here is because the tourist can take the opportunity to sample the delicious fruits as well as freshly squeezed fruit juices. 1. Wet World Wild

Slides, flumes, and water tunnels – they can all be found at Moonlight Bay’s Wet World Wild along Jalan Batu Ferringhi. A great place to make a splash, it features ten giant, inflatable blue, yellow and green ‘rafts’ that have been designed to allow kids (and adults) to run, climb, propel and jump around easily and safely. There is even a vertical ‘rock-climbing’ raft with hand- and footholds that make it easy for one to reach the top of the mound.
